My Bad!

So I pulled a stupid this morning.
It started last night, we got home 30 minutes into The Mentalist, so I backed it up 30 minutes to the beginning. After The Mentalist we went to bed.
To this morning...I turned on the television and the news was stating it was 7 am. I am wondering why they are 30 minutes behind my clock. All this time I am thinking the news is going to screw people up and they will get to work late. About 15 minutes into worrying about this I called the news station and told them "your time on the television is about 30 minutes behind." The nice lady said "Oh No, I will tell our engineers".
After hanging up it dawned on me to look at the DVR guide and see if I am watching live TV. Turns out I was 30 minutes behind due to last night (since we don't turn the DVR box off).
Oops, my bad.
Oh well, I got a chuckle out of my mistake. I called Trent and he got a good laugh and I called my sister and she got a good laugh as well. As soon as dad woke up he got a bigger laugh.

Band Concert

Talmage had his 2nd band concert 2 nights ago. I would love to have taken pictures, but with Talmage being so small and being on percussions he is on the back row. So there is no good spot to get a picture. He failed to mention to us that along with playing his bells he was also playing to HUGE drum. He said he had to lift his knee up really high to brace himself so he could hit it with the large mallet. It was so cute.
Kylie and Crezna are anxiously awaiting Christmas. Everytime Trent and I go shopping they want to run out to the car. But, HAH, I have them all wrapped and hidden now.
I am so glad I have not needed to plow, snowblow, or shovel and snow since Monday. I shoved 4 times on Monday, once in my pajamas and uggs. Hilarious.
Plowed out 2 neighbors driveways with the 4 wheeler, that was fun. It was nice to help them since they have helped me in the past. The 4wheeler gets the slush, that the plows leave behind, much easier than the snowblower that gets clogged anytime the snow is wet. :)
Done shopping for the kids, now I have to go get Trent's present ( he wants a new toilet). I love having a husband who wants only usable things, not just silly things. NOT. Oh well, I did get him a bee that has a fan on the front and sings Be My Baby, the fan turns and says in red digital words while twirling Bee My Baby.
Bought the dogs a little monkey that when you turn it on it is motion sensored so when the dog walks in front of it, the money starts to giggle and roll over. The dogs hate it. Mission accomplished.

Lazy Day

Today was a lazy day. I got the kids off to school, did last nights dishes. Then I went back to bed. I have done nothing other than that.
Trent got home early today and fixed the plow on the 4-wheeler. There is a bolt and not that does not want to stay attached...comes loose practically every time we plow. As soon as usuall bolt was fixed a new bolt fell out. We searched the snow in the road for the missing bolt. The neighbor heard our dilema and came over with a bag of bolts and nuts that he picked up on Saturday, but ended up not needing. It was the exact same size as the missing bolt. After it got fixed I found the missing bolt, but refused to find the nut since the neighbor gave us his.
After Trent got it fixed he plowed that neighbors pile that the BIG snow plow left in his yard.
We are now sitting as a family having pizza and watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Ok, not quite a family Kylie is not a Harry Potter fan.
Oh and tonight the kids school called, I quickly asked girls before answering what it is about before answering...they don't know. Apparently my smart child, Crezna, did not give us her midterm and return signed paper saying I got it. I was scared for a minute there because as Kylie was getting out of the car to go into school this morning, I noticed (too late) that she was wearing Ked type slip on shoes...with no socks. The day after a bid snow storm. I thought the school was calling to ask me to dress my kids more appropriatly.

Snow Fun.

Trent gave the kids one of their presents early, a snow brick maker and snowball makers.
Here is them behind their fort wall making snowballs. Hope they are not planning on using those on Me.

The fort is slowly coming along. As we snowblow snow over there they use it to build up their walls.

All is good

Kylie and Crezna went outside and built a snow fort yesterday, I think they will keep adding to it as more snow comes.
Talmage is doing well, he has been very huggy lately. You can walk past him and he will just give a big hug and say "I don't think I have hugged you today". What a sweet kid.
I was able to go get a couple more presents yesterday, Trent went with me. Getting a little closer to being done with holiday shopping.
Anyway, I am done for right now. Merry Christmas!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Hello all,

Today is July 4th, and I am stuck at work. We got up late this morning and we ate a dinner with my parents, and Heidi's family at about 3pm. We had Rot Roast, potatoes, my fresh peas from the garden, a jello salad, and homemade monkey bread. It was all delicious. I had to leave early so I could come and take calls at work. YEA!!!...Not! People who feel it is necessary to call on a holiday for travel that is further out then the next couple of days need to get a life. There are much better things to be doing on a Holiday other than calling a reservations center. Oh well, I am atleast sitting in an air conditioned building.
I am going to start posting recipe's, feel free to share if you like.

Quick and Easy Beef Stroganoff

1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
1 16oz. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup

Brown hamburger and onion, drain fat. Add in sour cream and soup. Serve with Egg Noodles. Yummy and how simple is that.

My garden

Hello all,

I was able to get out with the family today and pick our first harvest of peas. They are yummy, and I do not like peas very much. I am so excited for my garden. We have not had a garden before and it is alot of fun seeing the peas, the broccoli, the strawberries, and the green beans coming on. Now I just need to keep the family out of eating them straight from the garden so I can get enough to freeze. I am still anxiously awaiting potatoes, and hopefully our corn will start growing faster. It is in a bad spot and so the sun doesn't hit it for as long as it could. Oh, and we planted tomatoes, but that was only a couple of weeks ago, but they are thriving. I will take pictures and post as soon as possible.
I am at work right now. It is soooo slow, I have taken only 14 calls in 5 hours. And I am luckily keeping my average call time down.
Trent took me out to lunch today that was alot of fun.
